BMW
BMW is a fantastic brand and I've had the chance to work with the marketing teams there on a couple of occasions, first with Dare and then with Oliver. Interestingly Oliver bought Dare while I was there so things come full circle sometimes. Anyway, I digress...
I led the pitch with Oliver for a new mobile responsive website which gave the opportunity to present the alternative agency proposition. Rather than simply work with an outside partner, why not create an in-house team of digital experts. This would allow BMW to build, maintain, and develop the website but also, going forwards, with other brand-related content, social media, etc.
It has always been my belief that a brand's website is a reflection and manifestation of what the brand itself is. For BMW this meant the website should be as well-engineered as one of their cars.
BMW agreed with this and I built a team onsite for them that delivered on this vision. A few examples are here on the page, including a shot of the previous site.
